| In the morning, we will do sight-seeing of the
city, visiting the Belem quarter, where great Portuguese navigators departed to cross the
oceans of the XV century. Free time in the
afternoon, or, if you prefer, an optional excursion
to the villages of Sintra and Cascais. In
the evening, we include a transfer to the
Barrio Alto, a typical quarter with numerous
restaurants and Fado houses.D |
DAY - 3 WEDNESDAY |

| We will depart early towards the south of
Portugal. Pretty landscapes abound near the
long brige crossing the Tajo river. Arrival to
ALGARVE, the southern Portugal region. Free
time in ALBUFEIRA, a lovely coastal town.
You can enjoy its beach or walk around the
lively historic centre. We will continue to the
nearby town of LAGOS with its port and walls.
Time for lunch. In the afternoon we'll visit
CAPE SAN VICENTE, the windswept tip of
Europe, and FARO, Algarve's capital.

DAY - 4 THURSDAY |

| After a stroll along the riverside in Tavira we
will visit CONCELHO VELHO, a tiny white and
blue village by the Atlantic Ocean. We will
continue our tour towards the ALENTEJO. By
Guadiana riverside we will visit MERTOLA, an
ancient Muslim town with walls and white
streets, whose church was an old
mosque.Arrival to EVORA by lunchtime. Free
time to discover this city, which has been
inhabitated for more than 2000 years and was
recently designated by UNESCO as World
Heritage Property. It´s undoubtedly one of
Portugal´s prettiest cities.You can also relax
in the hotel´s swimming pools. |
DAY - 5 FRIDAY |

Almourol, Tomar, Fátima. |
| Today we will see the centre of Portugal. Stop
in VILA VICOSA with its huge palace in the
middle of the Alentejo. We pass Porto Alegre
before arriving to MARVAO, a lovely village
with walls overlooking the border. In CASTELO
DA VIDE we will have time for lunch and
walk along its white streets. We then visit
ALMOUROL, a little medieval castle on an
island in the Tajo river . We include boat trip
and entrance. We will then go to TOMAR, a
city dominated by the Convento de Cristo, an
ancient Templar castle-monastery, entrance
included. Arrival to FATIMA. You can, if you
wish, attend to the "Candle Procession" .

| We will travel to the north of Portugal. Arrival
to OPORTO, the second largest city of
Portugal. Sightseeing tour included of this
city, its historic quarter and the Douro River.
We include the entrance and visit to an old
wine cellar. Free time.D |
DAY - 7 SUNDAY |
| Oporto, Vigo, Santiago de
Compostela. |
| We will leave for the region of Galicia in the
north-west of Spain , stopping in the Atlantic
port of VIGO, the most populous city in this
region. We arrive to SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELLA
around lunch time. In the afternoon,
we'll have a sightseeing tour of the city, which
has been the destination of pilgrims for centuries.

DAY - 8 MONDAY |

| Early in the morning, we will continue
through the famous "Way of St James "
towards LEON. We'll have the opportunity to
admire its Gothic Cathedral, and San Isidoro,
with it Kings' Mausoleum. In the afternoon,
we will travel to the region of Asturias. You
will have free time once you arrive to the city
of OVIEDO. Night´s stay in the Asturian capital
city. |
DAY - 9 TUESDAY |

Santillana, Santander, Suances. |
We will travel to Picos de Europa mountains.
We will stop at the BASILICA DE COVADONGA,
nestled in the beautiful landscape. The journey
continues toward SANTILLANA DEL MAR,
one of the most beautiful medieval villages in
Spain.Then, we'll travel to SANTANDER, the
capital of the region, maritime city with
impressive views and beaches. We will spend
the night in SUANCES, charming village located
on the coast of the Cantabrian Sea.

| We continue the mortorway along the
Cantabrian coast admiring the wonderful
views between the mountain and the sea.BILBAO,
arrival to the largest city of the basque
country. The bus will leave us at the entrance
of the GUGGENHEIM MUSEUM, with its amazing
architecture. Free time to visit the
museum or walk along the riverside. In the
afternoon, departure in regular bus service towards Barcelona. Arrival to BARCELONA
arround 22h .Transfer to the hotel and acommodation. |
DAY - 11 THURSDAY |

| In the morning, we will enjoy a tour of the
city: the famous Ramblas, the works of Gaudí,
the old city . Afternoon free. At night we
include transfer to the magnificent Olympic
port, with its terraces and lively

DAY- 12 FRIDAY |

Madrid. |
| We will leave early in the morning south
through the coast to PEÑÍSCOLA, a picturesque
Mediterranean village with its nice beaches
of beaches of bright sand and the castle
in the small penisula of narrow streets full of
flowers L. After lunch, we will continue to
MADRID where you will arrive late at night. |
DAY 13- SATURDAY |

| That afternoon, we will enjoy a sightseeing
tour of most attractive monuments. At night,
you will be transferred to the Plaza Mayor,
where you can enjoy a glass of wine at one of
the typical bars that surround the square.D |
DAY 14- SUNDAY |
| Madrid, Toledo, Madrid. |
| We will enjoy a half day trip to the historic
city of TOLEDO, nestled in the bends of the
Tajo river. Toledo's medieval streets have
been traversed by Christians, Jews, and
Muslims.L You will have the afternoon free in Madrid.
If you wish, we offer an optional Flamenco show at
night. |
DAY 15- MONDAY |

| will travel southward through the region of La Mancha.
We will stop in a typical village in the tradition of Don
Quixote. We will enter Andalusia through
Despeñaperros. We will make it to GRANADA in time for
lunch.L In the afternoon, we will take a sigthseeing
tour of the city, which includes a guided tour of the
immense palace of La Alhambra, built in Arab times,
with its beautiful gardens of Generalife. |
DAY 16- TUESDAY |
| Granada, Zuheros, Córdoba,
Seville. |
| Free time to enjoy Granada. Around noon we will head
towards the beautiful landscapes of inner Andalusia.
We will stop in ZUHEROS, one of the piecturesque
White Villages, for which the region is known . From its
Vista Point we can admire the rolling hills, covered with
olive trees. After that, we will continue to CORDOBA,
with a time for lunch, L or visit the great Mosque, and
stroll through its flowery streets. We arrive to SEVILLE
in the evening.D |
DAY 17 - WEDNESDAY |

| In the morning we will go on a sightseeing tour of the
city, which includes the cathedral, the amous Giralda
, the banks of the river Guadalquivir, the popular neighborhoods
of Santa Cruz and Triana. At night , if you
wish, you can attend to a traditional flamenco dance. |
DAY 18 - THURSDAY |
| Sevilla, Mérida, Evora, Lisboa. |
region of Extremadura. In MÉRIDA we will be able to
visit the grounds of an archeological excavation from
Roman times, perhaps one of the most interesting sites
in Spain from this period L. In Portugal, we will stop in
EVORA, city recently designated by UNESCO as a World
Heritage Property, with its white streets, Renaissance
palace and cathedral. LISBON, arrival in the evening.
