TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Important Notice: Your booking for these vacations involves an agreement between you and those who provide the services. Please read all the information on this page since it sets out the conditions covering the travel and other services offered.
DEPOSITS: A deposit of $300.00 per person is required at the time of booking. If the chosen holiday is not available or any suggested alternative is not acceptable, your deposit will be refunded in full.
FINAL PAYMENT: The balance of your holiday is payable not less than 42 days prior to departure. If final payment is not received by the prescribed time, the Company reserves the right to cancel the booking and retain the deposit. Passengers booking less than 42 days prior to departure must pay the full amount at the time of booking. The total amount, less late booking charges (as shown hereafter) will be refunded if chosen holiday or acceptable alternative is not confirmed.
LATE BOOKING CHARGES: When bookings are received less than 42 days prior to departure, a charge of $20.00 per person is levied towards cable costs and/or other communications expenses and administration costs. Charges still apply if selected holiday is not available and a suitable alternative is not found.
CHANGES: Should any alterations be made in the holiday originally booked (or the alternative accepted), a charge of $20.00 per change to cover communication and administration costs will apply. Travel documents and information will be sent to your travel agent two weeks prior to departure and only after final payment is received.
SERVICE CHARGES: Our package tours include all taxes and service (except airport and related fees). All FIT's (custom designed holidays and land only bookings) are subject to a $40. one time service charge.
CREDIT CARD BOOKINGS: Your authorisation to use your Credit Card number for deposit and/or final payment indicates compliance with our Terms and Conditions whether or not you have actually signed the appropriate form. Verbal authorisation of your Credit Card and notification of numbers noted thereon confirms your reservation.
DOCUMENTATION: All passengers will require a valid passport. Canadian Passport holders may require visas or health certificates for any tours in this brochure. Check with your travel agent. It is the responsibility of the passenger to obtain proper traveling documentation.
CANCELLATIONS: Written notice is required if you cancel your booking and the following charges will be applicable, depending on when you or your travel agent advises us of your cancellation.:
1 - 42 days or more before departure $300. per person
2 - Less than 42 days and more than 22 days before departure 50% of total package
3 - 22 days to 7 days before departure 75% of total package
4 - 7 days or less to departure date 100% of total package
Above charges are applicable before travel documents are issued.
Once travel documents are issued, all services are non refundable.
The airfare (including any airport taxes) is ALLWAYS and at any time fully non refundable.
We strongly recommend the purchase of cancellation insurance. In the event of cancellation of any tour in this brochure by EUROSUN HOLIDAYS Inc. for any reason, a full refund will be made of all monies paid and such refund shall be EUROSUN HOLIDAYS Inc.’s exclusive and sole liability.
LAND ARRANGEMENTS: Land arrangements will be provided as described elsewhere in this site. Tour prices vary according to the grade and location of the hotel/property offered. It should be clearly understood that:
a) Grading of hotels and services are in accordance with standards established in countries where such hotels and services are supplied.
b) Selling prices were based on contracts between EUROSUN HOLIDAYS Inc. and suppliers of accommodation and of other services at the time of posting in this site. EUROSUN HOLIDAYS Inc. will not entertain any claim at any time for price adjustments due to devaluation of local currencies or other reasons whatsoever. Your full payment of tour quoted represents your acceptance of such conditions.
c) Tour figure includes a charge for making the reservations and for the cost of planning these trips. You pay, in effect, for the convenience of having reservations and for being able to prepay your land arrangements.
PRICES: Prices are per person, based on sharing a twin or double bedded room with private bath or shower. Single room if available. All prices quoted in Canadian dollars based on the rate of exchange at the time of printing and are subject to change without notice and include all expenses for the operation of these holiday packages. Ocean view rooms may have supplement.
INCREASE IN COSTS: Although every effort has been made to ensure the prices quoted in this site are correct, in the event of an error, the correct price shall apply. In the event of surcharge for fuel costs, dollar devaluation or other cost increase, EUROSUN HOLIDAYS Inc. reserves the right to increase the published price.
COMPREHENSIVE PROTECTION PLAN: EUROSUN HOLIDAYS Inc. has made special arrangements for your peace of mind with our Holiday Insurance Plan. You can protect yourself against cancellation charges if you are forced to cancel and at the same time insure against accidents, baggage loss, medical expenses or the need to return early from your trip. Information on request.
REFUNDS: No refunds will be made for any unused hotel accommodation, meals, transfers, car rentals, sightseeing or any other services. No claims will be accepted at any time for price adjustments due to devaluation of local currencies or any other reason whatsoever. No refunds for no shows or any alterations made directly by the passenger with our without the consent of EUROSUN HOLIDAYS Inc.
UNUSED TOUR SERVICES: No refund allowed for unused services.
VERY IMPORTANT: Local representatives have no authority to confirm or deny entilement to any refund whatsoever. Any refund will be considered strictly according to these "Terms and Conditions".
BAGGAGE ALLOWANCE: For transatlantic flights, allowance is two bags not to exceed 273 cm (107”) total dimensions; neither bag to exceed 158 cm or 32 kg (62” or 70 lbs). Plus a carry-on baggage allowance of one (1) bag not to exceed 115cm (45”); for flights within Europe, free baggage allowance is 20 kg (44 lbs) total weight, including a carry-on bag. Charter flights have different baggage allowance. Please check with your travel agent for baggage allowance on the particular holiday you book.
FLIGHT TIMES: All flight times are subject to change with or without prior notice. Should there be a flight time change, EUROSUN HOLIDAYS Inc. will endeavor to notify you. However, as a precaution, call the airline the day prior to your scheduled departure to confirm your flight times
DEPARTURES FROM OTHER CITIES: Consult your travel agent for connecting services and special airfares applicable from your city to the point of departure.
CAR RENTAL CONDITIONS: Cars provided may include unlimited mileage, full insurance and 17% value added tax. Driver must be a minimum of 23 years of age. A current driver’s license and a minimum of one year of driving experience is required.
HOLIDAY FLIGHTS: EUROSUN HOLIDAYS Inc. will endeavor to provide all the services as booked, but the right is reserved to modify or change any flight, accommodation or arrangement at any time up to 4 weeks before departure. If a satisfactory alternative is not found, conditions under deposits and final payments will apply.
RESPONSIBILITY: EUROSUN HOLIDAYS Inc. act only as agents for the owners and contractors providing means of transportation, accommodation and other services. Tickets, receipts and contracts issued, or services provided, are subject to any and all terms and conditions under which such means of transportation, accommodation and other services are offered and provided. Issuance of such tickets shall be deemed to indicate consent to the further condition that EUROSUN HOLIDAYS Inc. shall not be or become liable or responsible in any way in connection with such means of transportation, accommodation and/or other services. Neither shall EUROSUN HOLIDAYS Inc. be responsible or liable for any loss, cost, damage, injury, delay or expense of whatsoever kind or nature arising from the use of any conveyance, accommodation or services, or from acts of God, strikes, weather, quarantines, accidents, sickness, government regulations, insufficient documentation, and any loss or expenses resultant from the above contingencies shall be borne by the Tour Member. In the event it becomes necessary to or advisable for the comfort or well being of passengers or any other reason whatsoever to alter the itinerary or arrangements, such alteration may be made without penalty to the operator. Additional expenses, if any, shall be borne by the Tour Member. The right is reserved to withdraw any or all tours should conditions warrant. Also to decline to accept or retain any passengers as members of the tour. In such circumstances full or equitable amounts will be refunded.
CLAIMS: All claims must be received in writing by EUROSUN HOLIDAYS Inc. at its offices at 2011 Lawrence Ave. W., Unit 20, Toronto, Ontario M9N 3V3, not later than 21 days after the happening of the event causing the claim. This contract shall be subject to interpretation according to the Laws of the Province of Ontario and all claims must be commenced in Ontario.
AIRLINES AND CARRIERS’ RESPONSIBILITY: The airlines and carriers involved in these programmes are not to be held responsible for any act, omission or event during the time the passengers are not on board their planes or conveyances. The passengers’ contract in use by the airline concerned, when issued, shall constitute the sole contract between the airline and the purchaser of these tours and/or the passenger. Similar responsibility as noted applies to all other carriers involved, including car rental companies.
NOT INCLUDED IN THESE TOURS: Airports and other local taxes, all personal expenses such as insurance, optional excursions, wine, beverages, meals (except where stated), laundry, local and long distance calls, excess baggage, visa and passport expenses, tip to your hosts/hostesses and all other items of a personal nature.
HOTELS: EUROSUN HOLIDAYS Inc. reserves the right to substitute hotels for ones of the same category should it become necessary. The hotel ratings are established according to the standards of each particular country. Such standards may vary from one country to another, and generally are different from North American standards. EUROSUN HOLIDAYS Inc. reserves the right to decline, accept or retain any participant as a member of these tours at any time. If any participant is removed from the tour, a proportionate refund for unused services will be made. The passenger waives any claim against EUROSUN HOLIDAYS Inc.
THE ACCEPTANCE OF TICKETS AND/OR VOUCHERS SHALL BE DEEMED TO BE CONSENT TO THE ABOVE CONDITIONS.
