Valid from Oct.01 to Apr.30, 2010.

Normal office hours in all branches throughout the country are from 9:00am to 07:00pm.
Normal hours at the airports are from 06.00 AM to 24.00 PM

Note: For each delivery or collection outside of our normal hours at airports a fee of Euros 17,00 will be charged directly to the client. Even during normal hours, excluding the Algarve, airports or places where we have offices, a fee of Euros 0,50 per kilometer will be charged from our nearest office.

An airport tax of Euros 25,00 will be charged by Auto Jardim directly to the clients, except at FARO airport

Baby seats: May also be supplied on request at the cost of Euros 5.00 per day charged directly to the client to a maximum of Euros 70.00 per rental.
Passenger insurance: May also be supplied by Auto Jardim. The cost for this will be Euros 4.50 per day charged directly to the client.

Additional driver: for each additional driver mentioned on the rental agreement we will charge Euros 18,00 directly to
the client. To be covered by insurance, drivers must be duly mentioned on the rental agreement.

Young driver: All drivers between 21 and 25 years-old, must pay directly to Auto Jardim an additional tax of Euros 4.00 per day.

Collecting in advance: We shall not refund, neither the client nor the agency involved in the booking, any unused portion of the rental contract.
Green card to Spain: Euros 40,00 for groups A,B,C,D, Euros 50,00 for groups E,F,G,H,I,J, and euros 75,00 for the remaining groups charged directly to the client by Auto Jardim.

Road Tax: A Road tax of Euro 1.20 per day will be supported by Auto Jardim
DOMESTIC ONE WAY: Euros 50.00 when you pick up in Lisbon and drop-off in Faro or vice versa. For pickup in Faro drop-off in Oporto or vice versa is 100.00 euros.

Very important:
The client (whether driver or not) is always responsible for a deductible in the amount of Euros 900,00 for groups A, B and C, Euros 1.500,00 for groups D,E,I and J, Euros 2.000,00 for groups F,G,H and N, and Euros 3.000,00 for the remaining of the groups. In case of a self caused accident, in case of damages caused by acts of vandalism, In case of theft of the vehicle or any of its accessories, as long as the driver is unable to identify the guilty party.
This payment must be made upon delivery of the car, in cash (Euro or foreign currency) or by credit card.
The referred payment will be refunded to the client at the end of the rental, in case no accident has taken place, as well as no damages have been caused to the vehicle by acts of vandalism, theft of the vehicle or of any of its accessories.
This deductible can be waived upon an insurance payment of Euros 8,50 per day for groups A,B, and C, Euros 10,00 per day for groups D,E,I and J, Euros 15,00 per day for groups F,G,H and N, Euros 20,00 for the remaining groups. This amount is to be paid locally by the client at time of pick-up.
In case of accident where our car driver is found at fault, the insurance companies decline any or all responsibility for that driver of all damages caused to the hired vehicle or to third parties whenever it is detected that the driver was driving under the influence of alcohol, narcotics, drugs, toxic products or by insanity of the driver.
Also if the client uses the car in sportive competitions, races, rallies, challenges, contests, bets, etc.
Even if the car’s driver is not under the influence of any of the above items but by any means whatsoever destroys our car by his own fault, we shall not refund any amount for the time left to complete the rental. We will only give another car against a large deposit that may cover eventual damages that may be caused to the new car.
