OPORTO CITY TOUR
The city of Oporto, or Porto, also known to Portuguese as "Invicta" (unconquered), is located on the north bank of the mouth of the Douro River. The trading character of the city is present throughout the centuries, as testified by the famous Port Wine, exported to all over the world.
For its diversity and historical span, especially the Baroque work of Nicolau Nasoni, the historic center of Porto is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The city was also the European Capital of Culture in 2001.
Tour – Panoramic overview going through the city main points, Rua de Santa Catarina (Majestic Café), Avenida dos Aliados, Cathedral, Praça da Batalha and Praça do Infante. Brief passage through the mouth of the river Douro and the Fort of São Francisco Xavier (Castelo do Queijo). Visit to the Clérigos Tower and Lello Bookstore, considered one of the most beautiful in the world. Possible trip to the Churches of Carmo and the Carmelites. Stop at the São Bento Station and then crossing the D. Luis Bridge visit to the area of Vila Nova de Gaia, with passage on the famous riverside area and visit the Oporto wine cellars, ending the visit with a wines tasting.

Santiago de Compostela is the capital of Galicia, being the final landmark on the St. James pilgrimage route. Several centuries of splendour and expansion culminated in its urban layout of today, in which the medieval Christian heritage lives together with magnificent Baroque buildings.
Tour – Departure to the emblematic city of Santiago de Compostela. Arriving in time to attend the Mass of the Pelegrino. Visit to the Cathedral and the Historic Center. Free time for lunch (not included). Return to Oporto with a panoramic visit of Valença and Viana do Castelo (if possible).
