The temperature
in the Algarve can be as delightful in November as it is during the summer. Official records show an average of 3,000 hours of sunshine each year; more than the Costa Brava, the French Riviera and the Balearic Islands. During the summer the sun is tempered by refreshing Atlantic breezes. In January the wild almond blossom is carpeting the roads like snow. During April and May the countryside is lush with fresh grass and spring flowers.
